I booked flights with Globespan for holidays over Christmas and later in June this year. Fortunately I booked my flights using my Halifax Visa and using the template from this website wrote to the Halifax claiming a refund of this money which I have now received. The problem is that I booked my accomodation separately but since I couldnt get alternative flights for my trip over the New Year I had to cancel this accomodation. I have not been refunded and wondered of I could claim a refund from the Halifax since I paid this by Visa too - does this constitute "additional expenses incurred" due to the Globespan breach of contract? The accomodation (low cost beds) are not taking any calls relating to Globespan and are working through it in date order, so I cant get any advice from them on the matter.
