Tuesday 12.01.2010 - What small DFW things have you done today !?!

Comments

  • Today has been a smasher for me :D
    • Checked online banking and all is ok
    • An official NSD safely completed
    • Took lunch to work 2/2 for that challenge
    • Got email from Mazuma mobiles to say £35 winging its way to my bank account
The best one though is below and although I really did this a couple of days ago, I got an email about it today that was really good news.
    • Clicked via Quidco to Primescratchcards for a free £5. I played this with no intention of making any deposit and therefore really gambled (which I would never have done had it been real money ). However, by doing that I won £241 and it dawned on me that if I made the minimum deposit of £10 and then after that, wagered the minimum amount (£200 in my case) then even if I lost 200 x £1 bets, I would still come out winning. Checked out the forums on this site and discovered that this company are not a con and that forum members had won and been paid so I went ahead. I ended up being able to cash out at £181 so, taking off my initial £10 stake, I am £171 to the good :j. And it even tracked on Quidco :j.
Today's email from them was to confirm the transaction for my withdrawal of winnings had been actioned :D. I don't intend to make a habit of gambling though:eek:.
    • Realised that I have no urge to spend any of the above mentioned money on "stuff." :T

Bagpuss - I would have been delighted with £30 as well :D . I had a recent lottery scratchcard win for £200 as well - again, it isn't something I regularly do but I'm certain that it's good vibes coming from the DFWers on here cos the only thing I've ever won before having my real lightbulb moment and posting on here is a cooler bag containing 6 cans of coke (circa 1984) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

P.S Love your avatar - Oh how I will miss him :(
