Applying Credit Card decline

Recently i applied 3 credit card but all decline :( so i had used creditexpert.co.uk to check out for the problem, on the credit rating i gotten 4

4 - Agreed repayments are more than three months behind but you have agreed new repayments with the lender to bring the account in order.

During that time i had someone used my card for O2 (posted back on my previous post) asking them freeze my account until dispute been resolved, is there a way around this? sorry i have no experience on the scoring or ratings

possible if i phone them about it and explaination would they give me a chance?

by the sound of that, you are 4 payments behind on whatever, and the lender has marked your credit file with an arrangement to pay marker, so you must of spoken to the lender in question and agreed to a repayment plan on a debt.

an arrangement to pay marker can have a negative effect on your credit worthyness as it shows other lenders that you are not repaying your debts on time.

No matter what the background behind the late payment or missed payment lenders will not be able to see a reason, they will just see that you have not paid.

It may be advisable if a fraud was commited on your card or account that you speak with your providor and ask for any incorrect information on your credit file to be removed, it may also be advisable to add a notice of correction on to your credit file and explain in brief why the late or missed payments happend.

you could always appeal to the company you applied to and explain your situation, they may reconsider. there is a template on here somewhere

also i would not apply for anything else untill you get this sorted, as the more credit searches you have the worse your file will look

I've just emailed creditexpert about the fraud back when i was using Abbey, was that the correct thing. The dispute took 6 month to be resolved, that was back in april

    Sorry credit file (creditexpert?)
lender (Abbey?), they only told me that once the dispute is resolved money will go back to account

I would write a complaint to Abbey and ask them to remove the negative information from your credit file, send this recorded mail and keep a record of the letter.

You would still need to pay any statements when they are due, even if there was a fraud on your account, you would then at some stage recieve a refund for any monies that were taken by a fraudster.

you credit file is what creditexpert is showing you.
