So where else do you all recommend for a non beer drinking cider head !

I dont want to stay in this country. Obviously less chance of getting stabbed/beaten up if we go abroad! (sad but true)

going to a place where the majority of other English speakers will be horrendously !!!!!! up groups of lads is probably actually more likely to end in fighting than over here in reality!

I would suggest somewhere different, Prague whilst good, is becoming overrun due to it's reputation, Tallinn isn't far behind cost wise and is still in it's infancy relatively as stag do place (plus you can go via Helsinki, so you get Scandanavian blondes to look at, then Eastern Europeans afterwards...) or for somewhere even more different head further Eastern bloc etc. the Budapests/Riga/Croatia etc. Split was recommended a few times by some friends a while back

    Hi Pete,
Just booked a stag party to Prague, they are leaving in August and from EMA,
It worked out at £244 each, that included,
Flights,2 nights 3* B&B Hotel,Private Transfers ,Meet and Greet at airport by Rep,Rep service over weekend, tour of bars and VIP Casino night inc free bet and beer,(dont know about the vodka & redbull)!!.
An extra £25 (can be paid to rep) will get them a Steak Meal,Beer and private you know what!!!!!.
PM me if you want any help sorting it out.
    Happy Hols.
ps. Without checking, if your flights are coming in at £100 then the cost pp will be a lot cheaper for the above, than they paid for Aug.

"And last but not least what is there to do for a load of guys on a stag do out there? Things such as go karting ect"

Well I can certainly recommend the Opera for a stimulating evenings entertainment.

We saw Bizet`s Carmen on our last visit --Spectacular.

Also a day trip to the concentration camp at Terezin puts history into real perspective.

The Architecture is quite spectacular and Prague is a very walkable city especially for a group of young fit men.
Don't mean to be rude but it's not really stag party material is it? windy walks over an old bridge...... Make sure you go to the strip club to the left of the statue of a geezer an horse back in the main square. don't matter which way you pointing as there is 1 on both sides... wacth the "jimmy's" though. they sell speed labeled as coke....

I believe there are now a lot of places in Prague that are wary of British stag parties and refuse admission. The only other downside is the Roma gypsy population who spend their time trying to rob the tourists.
and the "jimmy's" have made there way there now. The robing see you next tuesday's. also a mate of mine had a private ykw in a club next day he wakes up and realised no £760 gold chain on his neck..

I went for a mates stag do about 2 months ago.
There is a Go-Karting Track in Prague and it is indeed very good. but even better are the Strip clubs!! My personal favourites was one called Nemos and another one called Atlas.A private dance costs about £25 I seem to recall!!

What did annoy me were in the evenings just loads of people trying to get you into there strip clubs and because you are a large group of blokes they just wont leave you alone.

Apart from that an awesome place to go and not one of us had a bad time out of 14 people.
Drink prices are not as cheap as everyone says. Many of the pubs we went to just seemed to have English prices but then the Clubs would be dirt cheap.

If you’re going for a stag night then you should go to one of the shooting ranges just outside Prague, if you are in a group of ~5 or more they will pick you up in a minibus from your hotel and take you to the range. There are different 'courses' where you get to shoot some pretty cool guns, AK47s, M16s, sniper rifles etc for around £50 each. I wouldn't pass it up as it’s not something you can do in the UK.

I was in Prague this Easter and will be back this summer; everyone is going to hate you if you are obviously in a stag party unless they are fleecing you, by this I don’t mean there will be any trouble just that pretty much everyone in the city is sick of stag groups. Whatever you do don't get the cliché 'stag party t-shirts'. Stag parties are not allowed in some of the nicer (and cheaper) bars and clubs, if you are all guys you will most likely be spotted as a stag party if you all try to get into somewhere together and there are no girls. Try to meet some heading to the same club and you will be let in anywhere.

As has already been said don't buy drugs off the street (if at all), marijuana is tolerated in most some pubs and most clubs although it is still illegal. There are headshops around Wenceslas Square and the more legitimate sellers tend to be found in certain bars in old town.

Solicitation is rampant after dark in the centre of the city, some of the girls are pushy so you need to be relatively firm (and keep your wallet in your inside pocket) although the streets are safe, police seem to tolerate what goes on so long as there isn't trouble. If you are going to indulge in that sort of activity I would visit one of the cabarets, the girls on the street seemed to be managed by gangs when I was there and you don't know where they are going to take you.

The cabarets are basically brothels and have 'menu's with lists of services and prices, if you want to use them try and find another stag party who has been in the city a few days to see what the prices are like. I would imagine there is a significant difference depending on where you go as with everything else in Prague.

Do not trust taxi drivers, the metro/tram system is £5 for a 1 week ticket and is very reliable, taxi drivers have been known to demand £25 for a 5 minute ride, they will also drive you round in circles to make it seem like they have taken you a long way.

Two clubs I'd recommend are Club Lazne and Club Duplex, Club Lazne is next to Charles Bridge, this place is huge and is 5 clubs in one. Each floor has a different genre and its own bars/dance floors, its only £3 to get in. Club Duplex is a smaller club in Wenceslas Square but it has a great bar and is a fun place, it’s around £7 to get in. Both of these clubs are for the tourists, most people there will be from Western Europe, mainly the UK, Italy etc

Prague is an incredibly cheap place to go out if you are careful; I had 4 nights out from 11pm - 5am for around £100. A pint of 12% Czech beer will cost around 50-60 Korona (£1) in a nice bar with table service, if you go to an Irish Pub you will probably pay £3 for a bottle of Carling or some other rubbish. Shots are 40ml as opposed to our 25ml so spirits work out cheap too, a Long Island Iced Tea in Lazne is around £5-£6 and has 200ml of spirits in it. Cocktails suck in most of the major clubs but the local beers are great.
