My wife and I seperated 6 months ago. We are claiming seperate benefits as we do not live with each other. Our relationship has now grown even stronger and I am thinking about moving back. But I have been informed from family that, because my wife and I were only seperated, moving back in before 12 months, is bad, because I will have to pay back all the benefits I have received. Even though we have been seperated and claiming what we should be claiming for and not defrauding anything. Is this truem that if i move back before 12 months i will have to pay back the benefits I have received. Please any information would be most appreciated.....Thank you

I agree that it's rubbish but living together is only one criterion for being assessed as a couple, so that may be what they're thinking of.0
