yes they are.do you recommend them.or is there better companys out there to take on my case.

    Specialist help

I have heard of NACSA, google them. I believe that for general information they are very good. It’s cheap to join as well!
When you join they can be a mine of information.
However, when you ring them you have to leave a message and then they call you back. They tend not to answer the phone when you ring them.

Others on here mention a solicitor called Stephen Lawson who is supposed to be very good when it comes to all matters CSA. I have no personal knowledge of him at all.Don't know what he charges but I have read on these forums that he will give you an estimate of his charges at the beginning.
    Probably not cheap

There is another firm called Durham Legal Services and I have only heard mixed reviews about them. I have no personal knowledge of them at all.
No idea about their charges, probably not cheap

There is another firm called Child Support Solutions who are in
    Birmingham.
They specialise in all matters CSA related and charge a monthly fee.

In some cases they take over all contact with the CSA and basically fight your corner for you.
I do have personal knowledge of this company. I am not affiliated to this company.
Not cheap, but very effective in my case!

The above are the main people/companies/solicitors who specialise in dealing with the CSA. Google them all and see what you think

As i said Nacsa offers aload of support and guidance .I fire of an email to them and there is a reply the next day or the day after .

There is no need to go to the expense of lawyers where all the help is available from NACSA and with fellow posters on this forum .

    Agreed...
    The OP asked the following,

are there any other companys out there i could use to take on my case.would really appreciate any help.

I was just pointing out to the OP, all of the well known options, nothing more.

when you say £50 subscription, was that. towards the NACSA and not the child maintenance advice centre .has anyone used the latter one, as iv already paid subs to them.

Yes, not the cheapest option, but he is very clued up on CSA regulations and is great for tribunal representation and very thorough, but it helps if you also have a brain. He won a CSA tribunal a couple of years back in England.

I also used Stephen James, a former British lawyer who now specialises in British expats living in France, he got a CSA REMO against me thrown out in the première chambre civile (a French local court ) on the grounds the CSA admitted child maintenance is based on the working parents income and bears no relation to do with the needs of the child. The juge de proximit! ruled it was an application for alimony under a pretence it is child maintenance.

A higher court, the tribunal de grande instance has since made a precedent in France re-classifying the UK CSA a British tax and French courts now treat it as such. This is why REMO's from the UK are now heard by the tribunal des affaires de s!curit! sociale

I dont know much about NACSA, but I everything I hear about them is good. I remember reading a good writeup about them on expatriates.com
