They have helped me as my arrears weren't correct and has now been proven.£50 subscription which is well worth it0 -
when you say £50 subscription, was that. towards the NACSA and not the child maintenance advice centre .has anyone used the latter one, as iv already paid subs to them.0

NACSA is the favoured ones in my opinion as i was in the same boat as you .They and the help of this forum has gained me knowledge how the csa work (or not in some cases).
You can put a request into the CSA data protection unit for everything they hold on you regarding your case .It should take 40 days to get that information from your request being received .You can find a template for this on the NACSA website .The CSA are starting to charge £10 for this now.
You need to find out how the arrears built up and have you been assesed correctly .Also have you also supplied them all of your details etc .
What are you on CSA1 or CSA 2 (After 2003)0 -
There's a lot of help on the internet - Google 'csa help advice'?A fairer CSA for all0

the time period for the arrears is from 1994 to 2000.nothing has been calculated after 2000 as i gave up my job in 1998 to 2003.my daughter is 19 now and the child maintenance is closed according to the csa.just a bit worried could they reopen the case while they look into my so called arrears.i feel that i need to hand my case over to a recommeneded company. do the nacsa take on the whole case and are they not too expensive?NACSA is the favoured ones in my opinion as i was in the same boat as you .They and the help of this forum has gained me knowledge how the csa work (or not in some cases).

Get the CSA to confirm in writing first also if you are on talking terms with the ex ask her to write to the csa to get the case closed .0
