OK I'll have my lunch and I'll have a think about a carefully worded neg as a warning to other sellers.

Thanks for the thoughts on this one, I love this forum as it's like talking aloud sometimes and a way of finding out whether something is an over reaction or not.

I have to say I love it too and have learnt sooooo much in the short time I've been here. I only wish I'd found it years ago.

    Enjoy your lunch!

I think you should warn others too. I'd probably say something like "Listing clearly states size of item, buyer neuts on a whim, no comms"

Hubby had a buyer buy a bear from him, was described as "3 inches high", he purposely used the word and not the sybnol thingy so there would be no confusion. Buyer left a neutral IIRC saying "Nice item but smaller than I expected"

Was it a man that bought it? Some men have a warped sense of length (especially when it's measured in inches!) :D:p
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

I hadn't thought of that. Would have been a good e-mail reply at the time :rotfl:

I would definitely leave her a well phrased negative. She sounds like an ebay version of Typhoid Mary - spreading poor feedback plague to whoever she touches.

perhaps you should post her ID here so we can add her to our banned list.

I understand why you're agonising over it, but I think you should leave her a neg.

I think there's a temptation to think that if someone leaves you positive feedback, then you have to do the same in return (almost like the opposite of a retaliatory neg!), but if she left you a neutral for a perfectly satisfactory transaction, then I'd say that your experience with her has been negative. (If that makes any kind of sense at all...)

Again thank you..I haven't done it yet as I do feel guilty but I will do so before the current auctions she is bidding on end. I double checked my auction as I did feel guilty and started to imagine I had misdescribed it, but the title mentions 'small' the auction listing has the size in inches clearly stated and it also says 'this is very small which makes it unsual as I have not seen one in this small size before'.

I've also checked the other auctions she left negs and neutrals for, on one sh emoans she wanted more than 24 items, but the auction was for 24, clearly stated. Two others she moans that the price was too high, but they were both auctions with other bidders bidding. Another she appears to just have changed her mind and left a neutral.
