Think I was being a little optimistic trying to get under 110k by may as we have been having quite a lot of building work done which costs a lot of £'s. My aim is to get as close to 100k or below by the end of the year. So watch this space! £111,621.27 outstanding, so if I aim to overpay £2000 each month I should be there. Right better get back to work.
    Mortgage was £144,308.70 (12.1.10)

    Mortgage now £79,046.09 (30.11.15):money:

  • Right, made a large overpayment this evening via a faster payment. I phoned my mortgage company about an hour later and they still hadn't received the payment:mad:

By my calculations the mortgage should be down to approx. £96,839.00:money:

They have told me to contact them first thing to see if the payment has been received.

Right I'll be back tomorrow with an update.

    Cheers:beer:
