who has stayed at travelodge burford - cotswolds?

going to this travelodge over the valentines weekend, who else has been here? what do you recommend to do in the area?

restaurants etc?

I work in Burford and to be honest its pub grub. Burford lodge - 100 yards from travel lodge has been refurbed and is very nice. Not a fan of Cotswold gateway hotel over the road. The Raymond Blanc coffee place is very good, but very slow service.

Burford is a single road going downhill with lots of pubs. Bibury is a nice village for Sunday afternoon. Nice pub/hotel called the Swan. or go to Oxford / Cheltenham in the day. Burford is really a base rather than stay there sort of place.

8 miles up from Burford is Lechlade and nice rest called colleys supper rooms. About £25 a head
