Have a look on the old style thread as they are very informative but i would say approx 6-8 hours depending on the wattage of the slow cooker and which setting you use. I use high for 6 hours to beef and it falls apart. How long does a whole chicken take to cook and at what power level? Quite fancy trying that!:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Absolutely everywhere in central and southern England appears to be out of stock. Most likely due to enthusiastic moneysavers.
If you can't find the Rachel Allen one, look for "Cookworks Signature 6.5Litre Slow Cooker" which is exactly the same but without the blue paint-job. It is currently still full price in Homebase (same company as Argos) but might be worth keeping an eye on.0 -
Not everywhere in central england is sold out, my local still has one showing as available, last week they didnt have any in stock but were available to order ready for collection at a later date. Store is a Tamworth jolly sailor retail park if anyone is near.
Chelmsley wood also has one available at time of posting:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

The slow cooker seems to be back in stock for home delivery if you can't find it in store. These prices are held until 22/1 so still time to get one at this price, hopefully.0
