As I finish paying off Trust Deed - company goes bust

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone was with a certain Aberdeenshire based financial company for a Scottish Trust Deed? I had just finished paying mine off towards the end of 2009 but while waiting on them to contact my creditors, for them to then hopefully accept the payout total and issue me with a completition certificate.... I was unfortunate to learn that they had gone bust at the end of 2009 and are no longer operating. All Trust Deed accounts had since been moved south to another company.
I am slightly concerned as I had cancelled my monthly standing order and was all set for them to contact my creditors in the second to last stage. Now, months on I have been told to wait for at least another 4 weeks until the new company review all outstanding case files .

If I was still paying money into this , I would be nervous about who it's going to but surely the worst that can happen now (as I have made all payments required of me) is for my creditors to get NOTHING and I will still get my closing certificate?

Anyone in a similar situation?

Cheers
