I bought a large-ish hand bag from the john lewis thing posted a week or so back and it did indeed have a pink bag with it - but the hand bag doesn't bloody well fit in it! It's just about the same size as the hand bag. useless.

Hiya - was it the large tote that was on the grabbit board? I bought the same one for my mother in law and the dustbag is too small. It also had 'gouging' on the leather dog on the inside - not sure if they do this because it is a sale item but seemed a bit spiteful to deface a bag which still cost £80 even in the sale. It also had a very tiny pen mark on the lining - probably from the gouging of the little doggy.

Anyway - I phoned them and to start they offered me £20 refund to keep the product. I said fine if they could send me a large enough dust bag. Anyway, they can't apparantly because the item is discontinued (although an identical bag has been brought out so really it should not be that difficult to get a correct sized dustbag!!). They again offered me £20 but I said no it is two seperate problems so after abit of tooing and froing they offered me £40 to keep the bag. So I'd give them a ring if I was you - I've got a £140 bag for £40 and mum in law will still be happy with it - she probably wont even notice the 'faults' to be honest.

OP - have you checking inside, in the pockets? If not, call where you got it from and get one sent out or some money refunded.

The first thing I did with my Radley workbag was yank off the dog tag.

I'm surprised they have such value (must try to find them!).

I'm with you, they are so odd!!! Those little scottie dogs and the Kipling chimps/gorillas just seem... well, weird.

If you ask in the outlet stores they will sometimes give you them for free. Have got two so far ... ;)

Do you say you had one you lost? Or just ask if they have any?

I got mine today too, just after I emailed them to ask why they have taken the money out seeing as I hadn't received a dispatch note. Apparently they are short staffed at the mo due to the bad weather. Guess one of those people is the person that updates the status of the web orders.
