A good offer, certainly. Sadly, Toys R Us haven't reached the wilds of Snowdonia yet!:mad:coolio wrote:Toys r us are doing 2 game, the lite and accessory pack for £129.99
For those still looking at this offer, can you tell us if the games were 'genuine' £30 games or were they the usual 'bargain basement' stuff? Thanks.0 -
The games in the offer were recent games, though retailing at £25 at amazon, cd-now and play. They were £30 on the toyrs r us website !
Still the offer appeared a good one.I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven0 -
So could you get ds lite, accessory pack, super mario, and mario kart for £130? I think its available instore.0

Looks the best deal currently out there and just 'trumps' mine! Still, my lad is happy with his new toy and I'm happy I got a reasonable deal without travelling miles.coolio wrote:So could you get ds lite, accessory pack, super mario, and mario kart for £130? I think its available instore.
Thanks for the info coolio, will help others looking to buy who live near Toys R Us.0 -
Although the toysrus offer is sold out on the web, it's in store at 129.89
Got one on the way home from work last night. The 2 games are decent ones. The DS Lite itself is pretty cool. The accessory pack is fairly naff but overall my nephew's gonna be pleased with it. It seemed a good offer. £150 notes at Amazon for the console and those 2 games.
For some reason they gave me a 'gold' loyalty card with 2 variety size packets of Rice Krispies aswell. I've never been in that store before. I doubt I'll fill it in, and send it back. I'll eat the rice krispies though.
The DS lite seems functionaly no different from my own DS, it just looks cooler. I better start practicing Mario Kart now, so I can win when we go head to head.I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. Guys and gals, the toys r us site only shows 1 game ? If this is correct, the current offer at Argos is cheaper
Doing my best as a contrarian investor...property, banking...let's see how it goes

Yeah, only one game on top of the console, accessory pack, and NSMB.0 -
Just noticed the ds lite package is back in stock at Toys r us in white only. Have to pay postage of £4.95 but still think its a good deal with the extra game. Just ordered it for my boy0
