I bought my 10 year old the High School Musical Three Singstar for the PS2.

I was wondering if it the mic would work connected to the PC as it has a USB adaptor on it.

I have just plugged it in and the PC detected it and loaded the software.

Does anyone know where I can find anything that she will be able to sing along with on the internet using this mic please, not sure what to actually look for?

Ta.

I think you can get guitar hero world tour (GHWT)for the PC now - other than that I am not sure - havent really looked into PC sing along games.
Not sure if you will need anything along with the mic to control the game - but you wont have to get the guitars and drum kits (unless you want to play along :-) unlike the guitar hero game you can sing along with the rock tracks

having a quick check on play.com
xfactor sing (comes with free mic anyway - but may be two player?)
    Disney Sing it
    GHWT
Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig

Thanks for the info, I was wondering if there was anything that I can download for her to sing along to.

She was in her element earlier just by singing and recording it onto the pc and playing it back with an echo, backwards etc, she is easily pleased, bless her.

If you google free online karaoke you will find some sites. Cant recommend any but I remember using one when I bought a microphone out of the pound shop for my daughter.
It had a great range of songs and was like using the singstar. You could even compete on line. Mm think I'll look out the mikes again and have a sing along at the weekend
