    Just get over it.

Unfortunately it's not that easy.. :rotfl:

If I could 'just get over' the fact I was going to have purple panda eyes against my milk bottle skin for the next 80+ years I wouldn't be posting on here asking for a miracle cure ;)

I have a tube of Colour Corrective Cream, and the liquid cream is GREEN. It is by !!!!!!!! but they don't make it any more. They do a products called Beauty Absolute Concealer for Eyes (see their site). You use it under your foundation or a spot of ordinary concealer. (I like Elizabeth Arden)

can i ask where you got this from?

I got the Hylexin from ebay,it was the only place I could find it.
It realy was worth the money I paid for it as it has lasted ages as you only need a tiny bit twice a day.
It has made such a difference as my dark circles are about 90-95% improved.
I saw results beginning about 4 weeks after I started using it.
I'm so pleased with it I bought another tube for when this one's finished.

    hey ywg,

I suffer really bad too and I'm only 22 so I sympathise with your problem- unfortunately its genetic for me

I use lemonaid by benefit to take away a lot of the redness (mine are more reddy than blue) and then this is my miracle concealer:

bobbi brown correcteur in bisque - it is £16 but it is the best under eye concealer I've found and I live with a make up artist so have tried quite a few!! They do light shades too and you can test them on the make up counters in house of fraser to find the right colour

The trick is to balance out the colours - so if you have a bluey tinge find out (google?!) what counteracts that colour. then bobbi brown on top!

I don't always use lemonaid as I don't always need it but on bad days it really does help.

Other than that I don't really know, I wouldn't recommend YSL touche eclat under the eyes as it highlights bags and makes them stand out even more - its only good for those without dark circles - plus it shows up so bad on photos.

(my make up artist friend's super tip - never ever wear touche eclat on your wedding day unless you want white panda eyes!!)

hope you find your solution! xx

Good tips about the Lemonaid and Bobbi Brown concealers - will give both a try.

I think YSL can work against you, but for me it's a miracle product. I have very pale skin and even the lightest shade doesn't give me that 'white panda eye' look.

I have genetic dark circles so know I can't get rid of them, but do my best to cover them. I just read about a new version of Garnier's Eye Roll On (apparently the best selling eye product in the UK?) which contains mineral concealer as well. Might be worth a try, although it's not launched 'til Feb.

Lemon Aid by Benefit is great!

I have some of this, but mine says it is an eyelid primer, but I just tried it on my dark circles and it definately has made a difference.
    I found this on Google
"quite a thick creme, and it is recommended you rub your finger in the crème for a while to soften it before using. If you try to use it straight away it will drag at the delicate eye area, so it really is wise to wait until it has softened with the heat of your finger.
if you wish you can take it under the eye area also. I usually take it down to the top of my cheekbone, and right around the side of the eye area as well. "

the best concealers for dark circles on pale skin are either the bobbi brown one or the erase a paste by benefit. I have lemon aid but have only ever used it on my eye lids, will have to try on circles. I think the YSL highlighter type pens make me look worse.

Am tempted by the new garnier roller pen......but i have the green one and don't think its anything special......expect i will try it went it goes on special offer.

I just read a great review about Nivea aqua visage under eye treatment and have bought some to try. I'll let you know after a week or so if it makes a difference.

I've tried loads of under eye creams over the years and none of them have worked. i don't have bags at all just dark circles.

I was told by my doctor (who mentioned it in passing) that it's a sign of milk intolerance. I think this is probably true as they did disappear when I went to India for a few months as I avoided dairy while I was there. Never done anything about it since though as I love my milky tea and a good slab of cheese :)
Worth trying if your desperate I suppose but it took a couple of months of abstinence to make a difference.
  • Wow Myrtle, never heard of that before, I drink tonnes of milk rather than water, wonder if that causes mine?
OP I have incredibly pale skin too ( I don't like the outdoors lol!) and use No7 products, I have the concealer which is the black pen with a brush at the end and you click the top to make the stuff come out, and also use the squirty foundation in the lightest shade. I'd ask at your nearest no7 counter and see what they suggest there :)

I had this until I stopped doing dairy too. It can also be a sign of kidney problems.
