Can anyone advise me please? I purchased a monthly bus ticket online and had an email on 6th to say it was posted first class. I have not received it and it was due to commence today. Arriva say they cannot do anything until Royal Mail send it back to them! I am having to pay again, daily. Not happy, surely I have some rights??????

Have you had any snow round your way? Maybe that has affected the post, don't you think?
Buy another monthly ticket and return one for a refund when you find yourself with two.0 -
posted on the 6th
this is the 11th
so there have been only 4 delivery days since then........0 -
The OP doesn't mention when he ordered it though, only when it was dispatched and when it was due to commence.
If he ordered it January 5th then it's hard to say they've done anything wrong, but if he ordered it December 1st, I think I would hold Arriva liable as they should have dispatched it early enough in case of any postal delays, or in case it goes missing.
Also, regarding "Arriva say they cannot do anything until Royal Mail send it back to them", Arriva should really be saying they cannot do anything until Royal Mail send it back to them OR until it's been missing long enough to be deemed lost, whichever comes first. They are responsible if it gets lost. However 4 delivery days is not lost.0 -
Doesn't 'first class' mean between one and two business days custardy?Tim0
