im not talking about cashback credit cards. i mean getting cashback by signing up for one online.0

Sounds like it from their website.
What charge are you talking about? The credit card company will only charge you interest if you use the card and don't pay the balance in full by the payment date on your credit card statement."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
so i can go into topcashback.co.uk and apply for a credit card. get 20 quid cashback but never ever use it? how many credit card companies do you think i could do this with?0

I was thinking about doing this sort of thing myself, but would probably use the card a little and pay it off in full every month just to be on the safe side.
Personally I can't see any problem with it, so long as your applications don't hinder any credit you might actually want later on (by showing too many applications, too many cards etc.).
I'd imagine you could do as many as you want so long as they're different companies, but if you applied for them at the same time you probably wouldn't get accepted for all of them.Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

As long as your do not too many in too short a time you should be fine. Each app will leave a trace on your credit file.Generally if you have excellent credit rating a card every 4-6 months is ok provided you close that are not used and hold a total of about 5-7.0
