it would all depend on whether you are cash rich, or need it all as free as possible
There are usually good entry deals on lastminute.com, as well as bogof vouchers, but to be able to use these, you obviously need a certain amount of cash too, to pay for it
whereas with the tesco deals, if you have lots of vouchers, and have no other uses for them, then why not use them, to get a day out for free (of sorts)

just a thought if you do have cash, then look at the Merlin pass. current offer on is £75 per person for a yearly pass - this would give you unlimited entry to Legoland, madam taussards, the london eye, alton towers, etc. - plus discounts at other places

Thanks F

I must admit I have ordered the half price yearly Merlin pass vouchers and paid cash for them and am keeping my Tesco Club card deals for other things like meals out etc. The vouchers can be ordered to be delivered by post and then you have 10 months to change them up to a Merlin Pass, with the pass starting the day you get the actual passes. Like flea72 says if you have a lot of clubcard vouchers and nothing else you want to spend them on then I would use these for the park entry and hotel and meals. Your 2 year old would be free, so you would need to pay for 2 adults and a child so with BOGOF you save one adult on the day gate price.0

hi - we went last year and surprisingly I found the deals on the legoland website the best value. We booked an over night package with the beaumont house hotel (which I can highly recommned. lovely big family rooms, a pool, kids eat free, kids dvd room with milk and cookies). It cost us under £200 for a family of 4 including 2 day park tickets.
One thing I would pay out for again is the Q bots. They are £10 per person per day but really make the most of your time there and save time standing in queues with bored/fractious kids. hthMANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Thanks guys,
Just looked up beaumont house hotel! looks perfect for us!!! Will see what kind of deal i can get with this place
What does a Q bot let you do????
Think Im more excited than the KIddies!!!0 -
a Q-bot is a virtual queueing system. you pay £10 per person on top of entry price, and that means you dont have to stand in line - you turn up at the ride, get your virtual place in the queue, and then the Q-bot lets you know when to return to the ride, so you can just walk on
means you can go off and do something else, rather than wasting precious time in a queue
But, tbh i wouldnt say they are worth the money, unless the park is very busy

If you are quick you can get a family room at the Devere Ascot for £19 on Good Friday. 15-20 min drive from Legoland.

You can always see how busy the park is and then decide if u want to pay for a q bot - but in my experience it is always busy and they were well worth £10 per person. Seems a lot to pay I know but I just factored it into the cost of the trip and I think we had a much better time for itMANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j
