in Credit cards
we are buying our first house and got the deposit in place and a bit for any emergency.. though since this is the first ever dept/loan i ever had i m jut trying to secure as much as i can - specially for the first year or so of the mortgage,
i got a credit card with hsbc thier typical rate 16.9 percent available 6000 and i spend 4-5 k on it monthly and repay it in full- that is spending i do only for tools and materials for my bussiness.
my wife , she s got hsbc card/bt/ mobile contract on her name and on spouse visa . she s been here 1 year
we would like to apply for a card for her to act as an emergency for a month or so, if we will need some money urgent
I got some savings in the country i come from but they need a 40 day notice to release the funds and 3-4 days to come here-- that if we needed it ..
i allways do full repayment but if it was used for this cause then it wont be full repayment for a month or 2
which card do you think will be better ?
thanks for any input

A 0% purchase card will be best if you think it's likely it won't be repaid in full if it is used.
Standard recommendation at the moment is the Tesco Clubcard credit card. If eligibility for the card is an issue, you might need to apply for the card in your name and then you can add her as a second card holder."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0
