    interesting, I noticed that when i was close to my credit card limit £5,500 the APR was 29.9% (i tried applying for egg card but was rejected)
    since i've been paying it off i'm now below £5000 and the APR is now 24.9% again.

    this card has been closed for me by HSBC back in feb 09. it irks me that they can close you account therefore removing the usage of it, but still mess with the apr. anyways.

    when setup it was originally 16.9%
