Say "no more" to 0844

Why is there is no campaign against 0844 telephone numbers? Come on Martin !! The campaign against 0870 numbers was moderately succesful and 03 numbers were introduced for companies. But now they are switching to 0844 numbers which are just as bad. (6p. connection plus 5p per minute from a BT line. There is a thread about this here :-

The websitewww.saynoto0870.com has a campaign against SKY who use these numbers as I know to my cost, having had to phone them twice in 3 days. The average time to phone SKY is around 20 minutes, so you will be lucky if you phone them to pay less than a £1 for the privilege of telling them their equipment is faulty.
