Late payments for Barclays CC

Hi,

I was just checking out my credit report on experians creditexpert and I noticed that Barclays have me down for 3 lat payments over the last 4 months. I was only late in one of these payments and I would like to correct this on my score.

How do I go about correcting this with the CRA as I called Barclays and the customer support service said theu had no control over how payments are filed with the CFA.

Thanks,

I would contact Barclaycard, once again, during business hours with the relevant monthly statements to hand.

If you ring Card Services on 01604 234234, you'll avoid the perishing 0870/0844 numbers and, with luck, the overseas call centre
Note: this is not a static connection. During busy periods, it dynamically routes the call overseas.

If staff cannot help, I'd call B'card Complaints in Liverpool on 0800 282 390 ;)

Seems that bcard are right, I didnt understand it completely but I was 8 days late on one payment. Does 3 late payments in a row completely put lenders off?

It'll be visible to them for a while. It's one factor, but not the only one. Important thing now is making sure you don't miss any more. Whatever damage it does to your credit score is done now. If you can avoid applying for any new credit for 6 months you'll give your credit score a chance to bounce back a bit.

Have you set up a DD to pay at least the minimum to avoid any future late payments?

Hi, my fault completely on this and I should had been more on top of it. I have now set up the DD and made other changes today such as new energy and insurance supplier which saves me £77 a month.

Think I will leave it until next year to apply for anything big,
