Edinburgh august

Taking the wife upto edinburgh for the tattoo in August (21-23). I know its early but does anyone know of any good b&b, guest houses or hotels at a reasonable rates, with personal recommendation if poss ;D

    No it isn't, booking for Edinburgh in August begins the previous August.

    The Apex in the Grassmarkets is very good, and often has deals.

    only thing with these hotels, you have to travel as the holiday inn and travel in are both on corstorphine road, 4 mile from city :)

    Treat her, take her to the Sheraton,luxury may get deals if

    your in quick enough,its in Lothian Road, 5 Mins from

    Castle,opposite Usher Hall,and Lyceum Theatre, near to

    Film House. In the "centre" lots of restaurants Odeon

    Cinema,pubs.

    It is cheap and is a walkable distance.
