Depends on what needs doing, but anywhere from £25 - £60/sqm. Chances are the floor will need a screed, if 2 quotes come in high and one low, the low quote won't be any good, as the best was to screed for Amtico is to use a LOT of screed. A decent fitter will need to lift at least some of the flooring to perform a damp test (this is to test the moisture content of the current subfloor and isn't anything to do with water ingress into the property, although that will have an effect too)

FYI - a brand new concrete slab can take 6-12 months to dry enough to put down Amtico, so a damp treatment may need to be applied to the subfloor first.

If you go to Amtico, they will give you a list of approved fitters in your area, the guarantee does not apply unless you use one of these, and I wouldn't do so anyway.

Amtico is a much better product than Karndean, I've seen the wear samples! There are a lot of fixed costs involved in fitting either, so go for the best product.

If you think £100/sqm all in, it won't be far off (assuming fitted onto a concrete slab, or onto chipboard with hardboarding costs)
Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%
  • Hi,

Karndean/Amtico flooring ranges from around £20-90 per square metre, depending on the quality you select.

Assuming your floor has already been levelled, expect to pay around £15 per square metre to fit the product......If the floor is to be levelled, double this quote.
