Hotel and Entertainment Breaks

Hi
Think this is right place to post this, my mrs is 40 this yr (oct) and would like us to go somewhere in a hotel in UK, with a few friends, midlands based, on a Saturday night, somewhere that does some sort of dinner and a dance thing, or something like that. I'm really struggling to know where to start searching. I've tried 'hotel and entertainment breaks' no joy, and tried 'hotel cabaret breaks' not a lot either. Any advice. or anyone know of anywhere? (other than warner breaks)

Thanks

What about Bistrolive - there is one in Milton Keynes, Leicester and Nottingham. They have a website. You get meal (food is fab) and entertainment (dancing on the tables etc-great fun). But you would need to sort accomodation seperately. Went for my 40th it was a great night.

  • Yeah, thanks for that. Don't think thats really what she's after. Wanted hotel with something on that meant didn't have to leave the place, possibly with a sauna pool that sort of jazz for the ladies to relax in on the afternoon. Done Bistro Live before, not that keen really. Thanks very much for the suggestion though!

And what will you be doing in the afternoon while the ladies are doing that sort of jazz you little monkeys.;)

    bet its this

    or something like this:eek:
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • You could try looking at some specific hotels or hotel chains in the area you want to go targeting either pampering or dinner dance - don't know if that might help. You can get pamper breaks for instance (britannia hotels - Coventry and Market Bosworth) but they may not have anything on in the evening other than drinks in the bar - depends what you want? Or try for hotels with evening entertainment that have leisure facilities.

    Have you looked at Warners?
  • I am not sure if all holiday inn's have entertainment but our local one in Norwich has some type of cabaret/music/dance practically every Saturday night.

Take a look at the events guide at www.hinorwich.com

Also in Norfolk is Potters Leisure resort, not cheap but has some great visiting acts and they often have one/two night specials.

A few in the midlands you could try are
    Hilton Hotel - bromsgrove
    Village hotel Dudley or Walsall
    Copthorne hotel - Dudley

All have party nights but also health club facilities aswell. i am sorry i can't place any links to the sites.:j
