Hi, has anyone ever had dealings with this company before. I live in a rented 2 bedroom house and we are with this company, guessing it was set up by the estate agency as its a company for landlords and tenants or something. looked on there website and they say that they are cheaper than the "big 6" standard fuel tariffs. when i rang them to set up the direct debit for paymets they said the first 3 months would be an estimated bill based on houses in the area or something, and that i send them meter readings each month and then after 3 months i will start to get billed for what i use. Does this sound about right? and how can i find out what the estimated bill for my area is? they didn't tell me on the phone.

thanks Danny

You'll be charged for what you consume as registered by the meter.

All they are saying is the monthly DD will be based on an average until the company has some actual consumption data from you. If you under or over pay by DD compared to what you actually consume, this will be reflected in your account.

The company will inform you the amount you are required to pay by DD
