Equigas - is an increase looming?
I am in the process of switching to Equigas. Have just been looking on the USwitch site doing a comparison and of course Equigas still come out tops, but when you click the continue button by Equigas there is a message saying that Ebico have requested the link to be suspended at the moment (or basically something like that).
So I am thinking there is definitely an increase in the wind here - if only I had signed up to them a year ago!!
I see that BG and some others have just put prices up AGAIN! Hopefully Equigas will still be competitive even if they do have an increase.
On another point, received quarterly BG gas bill today (21/3 - 13/6) and even though heating has hardly been on in this quarter and hot water cut right back, it is still nearly £200!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhh!

O no don't say that!
i've been thinking about switching to Equipower, and realise that they have not increased their prices since last Setember (I think?)
They still appear as my cheapest on Energy Helpline.
PS Basil is good for a loan, but he might have found the bricks in your briefcase. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Ebico are straight forward and trustworthy, Uswitch however are lying , devious moneygrabbers who I would never trust .
The likelyhood is that Uswitch have put that excuse on the site as Ebico refuse to pay referal fees !
Ebico will increase charges in September no doubt but will still probably be cheapest for many users even after the increase .

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -

Yes, I saw it on the USwitch site - it shows when all of the various suppliers last put their prices up and it said BG was 23rd June, also NPower I think.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

You are probably right and even if they do increase their prices undoubtedly they will still be cheaper than the other suppliers. I just wish they would hurry up with the switch!Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

Sorry, I must be going nuts! Checked again and couldn't find anything, but Ebico has completely disappeared on Uswitch as an option, last night it came up but tonight it has gone.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
