How does Pigpen know what needs to be done so well (but what I don't want to do!) I am slowly working my way through it. I did clean my windows in my bedroom - there's a proper catch you can press on them to open them up but I couldn't find it so there I was hanging out of the bedroom woman like a mad thing - must have looked funny :D!

Quick cup of coffee then more to do as only have until 12 before I have to get DS .... and we all know how time flies

Hugs to all, sorry haven't looked at any posts since last night but will do so this afternoon.

    you know that saying
feel the fear and do it anyway?

believe me I am feeling the fear!

So house cleaning is occupying my mind. Just paid the CC bill online and got a pleasant surprise - a small 'dump' into my bank A/c which I was expecting but had forgotten about. When I had a p/t job I had a tiny weeny pension (like £9 per year to pay out) and they have bought me out...I do hope it's not the only nice thing that happens today:heartpuls:blushing::lovethoug

    HHC at 10:45 anyone?

Off to attempt the linen cupboard - will just drag everything out and dump in living room floor then attack it and make piles I think. Wish me luck, I may not be back for a while!

ETA - OMG what am I doing! Had to get OH to carry it all through and it is a mountain that takes up the entire floor!!!!!!!!!

^^^Thats what I did a few weeks ago and have to say it was the best way, for me, and I don't think it needs doing again but will have a quick check(when I can get out of my pit.....back is sore today) xx

I've done the washing up, loaded the DW, cleaned the cupboard doors and appliances in the utility room, including a thorough clean of the microwave and the slow cooker. I've also emptied the dyson and put the kitchen rubbish and recycling out, spoken to the company who are going to deliver my new sideboard (how am I supposed to know when I want them to deliver if they can't give me a time slot  so they're ringing back with more details...) and am about to wash the kitchen floor by hand (I don't think the mop really gets it clean) while waiting for the laptop to arrive.

Obviously I'll go back and update my list first, so I know where I am...:D

ETA - table is being delivered on Monday late morning... so I'll be spending next week rearranging the kitchen...

Oh well, its certainly not going to be me getting any stars! However, I do feel my house is beginning to look better (or maybe that's just wishful thinking!) Today I need to concentrate on getting the Dining room habitable once more. Had super shelves put up and am now emptying tatty bookcases onto new shelves. Also clearing piles of paper/ music/ important stuff that's got lost/ junk etc from the table and surrounding chairs. DH uses this room for his piano pupils - and I dread to think what stories are going home this week about its state!
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!

    Hi all

Not done a huge load of flying this week so not been posting. Today though I'm creating the file on the list of emergency numbers etc - amazingly what needs to go in it when I think about it and how useful it will be if I ever need it - thanks to whoever thought of it.

Decluttering and filing as I find all the relevant info.

AnW'sMum and Mudders - sorry to hear about your falls and hope you are not too sore today
