Help With Part-time Course Fees

Hello

I am interested in studying a part time course for one day a week from Feb for 12 weeks.

I am on JSA and looking for work.

The college have suggested asking for help with the fees from the Jobcentre. The course costs £299.

Am I likely to get help?

It is a C&G in Horticulture.

    It'd help with future employment.

If this is your first level 2 course (or your first level 3 course if you're under 25) then you shouldn't have to pay fees. Additionally, if you're on means tested benefits then you might get your fees waived.

Did you speak to Student Services/Welfare at the college or one of the subject tutors?
