as you are fit and able you could do the following:
you could start off with the eye and then walk up to trafalgar square (15-50 mins) and visit the national gallery, after that it is a very short walk (5 mins) to Covent Garden (which would be a good place for lunch)
From there you could easily bus or walk to the British Museum (15 mins) and from Russell Square leap on a bus to Camden town for dinner and whatever you want to do there. (Euston is really close to Russell Square so if you wanted to go back to there first you could do it really easily)
It might be worth googling to see if tastelondon are doing any one month free trials, the card gets you either 50% off food or 2-4-1 on food at loads of restaurants (some cheap, some expensive) all over london. Some you need to book in advance. Equally you might get a decent deal for grub on toptable website.
I would advocate walking during the day, as you aren't here for long you will get to see so much more and everything really is much closer than you would think based on the tube. (Euston to the London Eye is only a couple of miles)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

thats great thanks:T do you know how much it would be for a cab from euston to london eye?just thinking to save time0 -
London taxis in my experience aren't too bad, I've travelled further than that and it's been under £15 so I'd say probably around a tenner as long as there are no huge issues with roadworks/delays.
Also, use bus rather than tube- you see alot more. Only use tube if you're in a hurry.0 -
