hello
I am looking for a property to renovate, does anybody know how to get access to information on properties for sale that meet this criteria
I did sign up for renovate alerts, which gave information, but after a few months it got expensive to subscribe, as you pay per month per region.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Elaine

A lot of houses needing extensive work go to auction and so you could simply subscribe to all the auction houses listings - most from my experience are free of charge. Alternatively contact the estate agents in the areas you are interested in and ask them to contact you if something comes up.
The problem is that with the number of TV programs showing how "easy" it is to make money doing this that the demand for these types of properties has sky rocketed and so have the prices. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I agree with last poster. Where I live properties are really cheap and teh ones needing renovation only go about 3-5 k below average condition ones.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

if you really want the bargains, ask the the agent what there " finders fee " is. for beginners, this is the amount of used notes you put in his hand under the table. it works, i know. others wise, join the queue!0
