Single parent camping

I'm a single parent with one child.
I'd like to take him camping for a weekend to a campsite with facilities. However I have two reservations;
1. I think I will feel quite lonely because everyone else will be part of a "normal" family or extended family and it would be nice to have some support and company for me.
2. I would like my son to have other children to play with.
So, I would like to find other like minded single parents to go on holiday with. I've heard there are single parent websites which organise things like this. Does anybody know of the names of these sites?

I have taken my children camping as a single Mum and it worked out great for me. Pick your site carefully looking at the facilities on offer but be prepared to sit outside the tent with a glass of wine in the evening while he's in bed.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4
