PayPal Withdrawal Query

First a little rant -

I do not use PayPal much but, just before Christmas, I needed to do so. When I logged on I was presented with a screen stating that my card was not verified. In order to verify it I had to authorise a small debit from the card. When the debit was made it was given an identification number which I entered on the PayPal site. The verification process was then complete and the debited amount refunded. However, it was not refunded to my card but to my PayPal account. There is a minimum amount of £6 for withdrawal so now I am stuck with £1 in my PayPal account that I cannot get hold of .

Next a query -

I have £14 ready to pay out at TopCashback. One of the options is to have this paid into my PayPal account. If I do this I would then have £15 and thus be able to withdraw it. The question is would this incur any charges? The account type is business if that makes any difference. It's not really a business account but I needed access to the sandbox which can only be done from a business account.

Thanks for your help.

you would get 68p in fees for receiving £14 leaving you with £13.32 + £1 = paypal balance £14.32

I don't think TCB charges. They are sent as echeques though, so it'll take a while.

ETA: nope, no fees. (on Premier)

Last time I withdrew from my pp there were no fees (less than £50) but it's a personal account - its fairly recent that they've got rid of the fees for that though.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
