NatWest Annual Review

Had a call from our local branch last week asking us to make an appointment for an 'Annual Review'. I said that everything was fine and that there was nothing they could do for us but still ended up being persuaded/pressured by the assistant to make an appointment to go in for a review the end of this week
I know when we go they will try and sell us all sorts of things we don't want, if I need house insurance etc. I do my own research online.
My question is, if there is no problem with our account ,which there isn't (we have an arranged O/D but never go over it) do we have to go? My DH not happy about going at all as it means taking time off work just to sit through a sales pitch.

You are far too clever for these pesky bank staff! :beer:0 -
Just tell them it's not convenient, especially if it means taking time off work.
I had someone claiming to be my Natwest manager phone me a while back wanting to do this. I said it wasn't convenient to go into town so he offered to do it by phone. We made an "appointment" for him to call me at 16:00 the next day. I gave him until 16:05, then went out. No further call, no messages, nothing. Obviously it wasn't all that important.0 -
Just don't go if you don't want to. They can't make you!Kavanne

You dont need to go in and the only reason they want to see you is to sell to you. (their products are rubbish as well).
