    Hi,

I started Uni last September, so I'm in my first year of Law. I started at CAB voluntary last February, and on an open day last August with my son, who wants to become a teacher, and is now on the fastforward course, which lasts for 30 weeks. Anyway I got talking to the fast track people there about how I always wanted to do a law degree and she sent me to the Head of Dept. I asked about the fast track course and he agreed after talking to me that I could start my degree.

It's hard work but I love it. I am 41. My eldest is 21 and my youngest 6. I have 6 kids and a grandson. The hours in Uni are fab and my 17 year old daughter, who is in college studying Health and Social Care level 3(ooh so proud) takes the kids to school two days a week(I'm only in 3 days). So speak to the Uni, they may just allow you in on your experience.

Good luck with it. It is stressful, your head is permanently in a book, and there are days when you meet yourself on the way back, but the new people you meet and the learning skills are brilliant, (although I've cried and said I am leaving it 3 times already, but I know it will be worth it in the end).
