What is it that your wife does 'normally' as an occupation?
I would second the need for life insurance as your family would be up **** creek if something happened to you! Even if it only covers the mortgage!
I don't think your grocery bill is realistic as it stands - have you thought about keeping a spending diary?
I would chuck all available cash at the £1500 credit card bill to get rid asap and then use the £35 payment towards the £9600 as that is the next highest apr.
Do you have friends who have young children who might hand down baby clothes?
Where do you currently shop? Look at using Aldi/Lidl to get some cheaper alternatives.
Use cash back sites for car insurance etc when due for renewal - also worth a look for life insurance - topcashback.co.uk, cashbackkings.com, quidco.com (quidco charges £5 per year taken from earned cash back)
Do you have family cllose by who could help with some childcare? Wife needs to get a p/t job to either fit around your working hours or swap childcare with someone else so that her and a friend can work.0 -
You also need a tax credits figure for when your wife's pay stops. It's bound to be more than £48 and you could do with knowing how much it is for your SOA.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair0
