Only four hours away and back to light and summer, southern islands and south resorts the most sunny but they are all warm in winter. Around 70 degrees or more during day, not less than 55 degrees at night, take a jacket or light jumper for the evening breeze when out and about thats it.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

Avoid Costa Teguise in Lanzarote its a very windy resort and can be very cold.
Gran Canaria or as said before Tenerife (south) are your best bets for the Canaries.

Morrocco is nice and warm too ..January we had around 22-25 but again a bit of wind when your exposed
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
