Hi I have been to Jongleurs camden and had a good time.
Are you looking to see any particular comedians?0 -
Comedy store in Leicester square is one of the biggies- been a few times never been disappointed. You should prebook although they do release tickets on the day, they do 2 shows at the weekends, get there a bit early as it's unreserved seating so you need to pick your own seats. Drinks are reasonable (for london) and they do a basic food menu. Clean loo's etc and very central as easily accesible from Picadilly and Leicester Sq tubes.0

I also enjoyed the Comedy Store in Leicester Square. Went there for my sister's hen night so they made us sit in the front row so we'd get picked on

can recommend comedy at sohoho - cheaper than comedy store, very small but good atmosphere and comedians usually do comedy store first and then come here.
turns into a night club afterwards. only been once but we had a good night.0 -
thanks for the suggestions. I noticed that there are reduced tickets on lastminute.com so will try to see if there are any for the comedy store.

The Comedy Store is fab, esp on their improv nights (like who's line is it anyway) which I think are a Weds and Sun. Well worth the money, and you can get tickets on the door if you're quick enough.0

Yes last time went was on a sunday and was improv, we got tickets on the night- we did get there to queue for them but I don't think we'd have needed to. Had Paul Merton and Josie Lawrence there amonst others. Was good.
You can see who is there on the website too which makes it a little easier to plan.0 -
The urgent money saving section has an offer for "Famous for comedy" shows for £2 inc booking fee using the discount code. They are old Jongleurs venues, they are now called Highlight. I've just booked for this saturday at Camden. Look here part way down under £2 tickets to comedy shows -

Hope this helps!

Do most comedy clubs do shows during the week as I would be going mid week and fancy this option instead of a show for a change0

The comedy store certainly does, in fact they sometimes have some of the bigger names midweek.0
