last time they were this bad was when i was working with the horses as a late-teenager and it was cold it was cold and had sweaty feet but cant understand it this time
  • Is a postal order safe enough then . Would I wait till I had recieved that before sending parcel
  • I would wait for any payment to come through first. If I get a postal order then I send the item off straight away as in my eyes postal orders are like cash. Cheques have to clear first. See if anyone else thinks the same.

I agree, once you have the PO then send off the item, its just like cash and cant be stopped like a cheque.

Anyone know if I need to inform the tax office that i'm not doing my part time job anymore? I was working part-time and self employed part time but have just given up my part time job..will they automatically know this or do I need to tell them?

How about taking the wrapped parcel to the PO with you. If you get the cash ok (which should be fine) then post it then and there. If you have a problem, you then still have the goods!
  • I have done literally nothing money-making related today and I have no excuse! Roll on little man's bedtime then I reeeeeally need to get on with something. My 'to-do' list is just getting bigger, the ideas are there, it's just the actual doing that's the issue atm :o

We have however been to the hairdressers (free) and covered half the house and ourselves in paint and glitter :rotfl:

I would tell them anyway, just to be on the safe side.

Although the Tax Office are useless with Tax Rebate thingys, i've been waiting for £400 since the start of December :( Saying that all the new coding notices there sending me have me down as working for two companies at the same place so I think they may have made a bit of a balls up of it. Will most likely be phoning them on Friday about it. .....Rant over :D
