Quick as a flash I said, i'll drop in my card and sell it for you, on a 50:50 split, that'll make you something. She was really keen.

Of course, i've not got a card, and had no intention of selling for anybody else before I went into the Post Office ..................... Me and my big mouth.
Just get some heavy card and "print" one out yourself from computer lol. Then if possible cut with guillotine or craft knife so edges look smoothish and away you go. I would follow that up though...could be worthwhile.

Trouble is the house is beginning to look like a charity shop- I'm not clearing stuff out (well, only a bit) - I'm shipping more in!:rotfl:

Hmm I have this problem. Its exciting to buy the stuff and then I can only have so much listed at once, so its just stacking up ... starting to drive me nuts ...

Hey guess what, got up to find I'd won £50 on bingo Britain!!!! Can't believe it! This is only the third day of my membership, wow, can't believe a gambling site is actually working for me :D definitely going to join Ladbrokes with the Tesco offer, thanks for that!

Kids are away this weekend, we're off down the charity shops to look for stuff to resell woop woop hehe! Everybody's said, oh so you'll get some drinks in and have a romantic weekend? Plenty of time to be romantic when we've paid off our debts and can afford to have a little holiday. Which is looking more and more likely...:T

Feeling more and more positive, thanks to all you lovely people who keep posting on here and giving ideas and inspiration and making me laugh a lot! Thank you thank you thank you lol.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

It's easy, I was scared too but was dead simple. You fill in your details and deposit ten pounds. Then you play through the ten that you deposited and then the ten they give you as a bonus. I pre-purchased bingo cards, it looks a bit complicated but if you just buy enough so that your bonus is gone each day, then wait til you get the next day's bonus and play that. I've just gone on this morning and it said I'd won £50!! so I clicked on 'withdraw' and as far as I know that's £50 just gone in my account :) hope that helps!

  • Morning All...

Can't believe I haven't come across this site before!

I was made redundant in October and although I had managed to get back into work at the beginning of this year... but I too have started to sell on eBay and have made well over £500.00 in profit.

I started by buying toys from the shops that I knew were going to get me an instant profit but these tailed of just before Christmas and have then gone on a clear out of the house and sold these all on ebay, the most surprising item that sold for more than I thought was a 5 year old bottle of Eau de toilette that had barely been used! £27 straight into Paypal!! Can't remember how much I paid for it back then but was surprised how much I got for 2nd hand bottle!

Well I'd like to be added to this great forum and look forward to hearing others successful and not so successful stories (we have to learn somewhere!)

    All the best

slow day for me today, running out of ideas seeing as i have no special skills to make anything to sell or whatnot. Been racking my brains!!!!

On the plus side though id like to give a big up to DH, hes seen how much hard work ive been putting into this, and Id not asked for his help once, but tonight he just came out with 'im gonna sell some of my hockey jerseys i think'
He collects game worn ice hockey jerseys, has quite a few that take up nearly half the wardrobe, but id never ask him to sell any of his stuff, but the sweety had already put them up for sale before id even had chance to questuin him! Im so shocked! They are worth atleast £100 each! Bless him.:kisses2:

ETA - hes also done some overtime for us too this week im so proud of him! but shh dont tell him will you? it may go to his head! lol

Well done you two...with that attitude you two will do this challenge with your eyes shut ! It's great your DH is supporting you, maybe you could ask them to trawl around the carboot sales with you looking out for sporting collectables,equipment,memorabilia.....it's a great niche to go for.I wish you both all the best ! :T:T:T

I am going to have to bow out of this challenge, sometimes life deals us hammer blows that beat us down no matter how positive we are. All I can say is live life to the full, cherish every moment with the ones you love and don't get caught up in the little niggles that truly are irrelevant. I hope you all achieve the goals you so richly deserve and when I pop back later in the year you will all be basking in the warm glow of success. Keep smiling. :)

Hi I've joined the challenge and am now about to embark on reading this thread from the beginning. I found this thread just after buying the secret so felt it was fate or something that the book was mentioned in the first post.

Have started with decluttering house and selling own stuff on ebay this week, my items finish tomorrow and I've never had so many watchers so fingers crossed I make a good profit.

My husband is going through his cds and games today and we're going to put them on music magpie for a hassle free sale unless I think something might make more on ebay.

Have saved a fortune this week at the boots 75% off sale for presents for this christmas and hopefully people will think I've spent the full amount on them - I'll look really generous while basking in smugness that I spent hardly anything :-) Is that wrong?! or is that mse.

OK off to start reading...see you in about a month!!!!!!!!!!
