It's so difficult to decide where to invest your money! I am so glad I'm not an entrepreneur, I'd have a heart attack!
Hate to break it to you but if you are looking for opportunities in the market to make a return ... you are an entrpreneur. As for the iPod covers, if the market is saturated then there will not be a good return ... if it isn't then there may be some. Do you have any control over the "assortment" or is it a job lot? Choosing a range of designs could prove more productive than having a number that may be worthless in the job lot (if that makes any sense?). Watch the market and see if these things sell and for how much ... research pays dividends in the end. Good luck with whatever you decide.

All the snow and ice has gone so no need for a lift to the post office today
three items I sold have now been posted. Have however lost my bank card so had to cancel it and wait a week for a new one as well as a pin to come. No bids or purchases so far today sadly. Did get the dress I ordered but don't think it will sell because its ugly. Damn the seller and their rubbish out of focus photo lol. At least it only cost £2.99 inc p&p.

Looking around, some people seem to love ugly clothes ... take some decent shots and get it listed.

Carolbe - ((hug)) for you - hope you get it sorted out okay
It was only a tiny thing - but I looked at renewing my yearly travel pass through work rather than doing it myself - and I got a 10 % discount - so I can add another £30 to my savings accountThe other nice thing is that I don't have to pay for it in one go like I normally do - the college will pay it then just deduct from my salary each month (interest free!). I need to check through to see if there is anything else my employers offer that I hadn't noticed
I've been comissioned to make a birthday cake for Thursday too, so that will add a little extra too.
I cashed in my cokezone points for boots vouchers - so that's my sisters b'day pressie sorted with no spend:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Just sold a pair of skullcandy headphones for £15 + p&p, shame I won't see a penny of it because its my brother's item. Ah well a sale is a sale.0

I now have a Folksy shop with one item listed! I need to get pictures of things in good light, so won't list any more till tomorrow at the earliest.
Apparently there's a school fair near me sometime near Mother's Day, so I'd best start mass producing Mother's Day cards and gifts and get me a table!0 -

Cool! :T Pop into the forum and say hello - at the top of the general chittah chattah board (hit the "talking" tab to get into the forum) there is a sticky for new sellers to introduce themselvesI like folksy a lot - it's a really friendly place to sell craft work

I remember reading somewhere that a good place to photograph items is in the bath! Yes really! Gives you a clear white background and gives off good lighting...something along the lines of that anyway, i've never tested it out! Anyone up to trying it and reporting back?!Did you know that 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy?!0 -
