So far listed acouple of things on etsy and ebay-no takers yet tho but its early days.
On BB have won £165 so far but am splitting it with my son as I use his account too. I have had to use my winnings tho as I had to have my 11 year old dog put to sleep on Wednesday- gutted by that but at least I had ready access to the money which I wouldnt have had if I hadnt won. I would have hated to be in debt in order to put her out of her pain.
Had a few miserable days but am trying to be positive and get back on track now. Will go scouting for ebay but dont hink I will list on Sunday as I think ebay will be flooded for the next week.
Going to look at designing some wedding settings/invites etc to list on etsy. Will get back on Dooyoo and do some more reviews- was up to 21 premium reviews as of Tuesday.

Glad to see everyone is still quite motivated- its easy to start to flag once the intial enthusiasm has worn off.
Heres to the next £100!! Onwards and upwards!!

sorry to hear about your doggy, we had to have our staffy put downa week before xmas :(

What a fantastic, positive vibe on here today ... thanks everyone, I was just in a lazy mood after wandering all over town and was going to take it easy but a quick read on here and my mind is buzzing again and I am ready to get on with the day and get organised. Really quality advice all round Hypno and particularly the bit about always having samples with you or within reaching distance ... for those who develop product selling businesses this advice could well be worth all the £10,000 in time through avoiding missed sales. Brilliant :)

Just spent the past few hours looking through cupboards i was afraid to look in before, my spare room is now a disasted zone! :D

7 boxes of wall tiles (possibly more in the loft)
2 fishing rods (keep them for a summer listing i think ;))
Bags of clothes i've been given but don't like (chucked in the cupboard forgotten about!)
    Playstation 2
    Nintendo gamecube
    Bt Homehub
    Various PC Parts

Theres probably more to go when i get to cupboard number 3 and i don't have a clue whats up in the loft! I know these is a bmx! Might get that down at some point and fix it up a bit for another summer listing.

That lot should start me off anyway :D

On another note, heres yet another site for you to enjoy if you so wish!

What a stunningly inspirational man that is. There are no boundaries to the power of will when it is truly focused on the positives in life. That he is proactively passing on this message to a new generation, speaks volumes for the potential spirit of humanity. :)

Isn't it annoying waiting for things!!

I'm waiting for items I'm selling to finish tomorrow!! Waiting for items I'm bidding on to end before someone else finds them!!!!

Waiting for the month to end so I can transfer my expenses into my profit pot!!!

Waiting for summer so I can sell the items I'm waiting to finish on ebay and add more to the profit pot!!

    waiting waiting waiting!!!!

So I did some online banking and now I am trying to resist transfering my isa money into my profit pot and then my profit pot into my account!!!!!!!!! dam this waiting

I'm trying to play the long game but the only problem is just in case you missed it I am very rubbish at waiting!!!

Yay, I have a mystery shopping assignsment on Friday. Only £5 fee but I can walk to the place and back (aslong as it doesnt snow) so no expenses. Might not be paid until February though so not counting it just now!

I feel like i've written a novel on my blog today
  • I'm considering putting some money towards a joblot of assorted iPod covers, it will have a really good return, but I'm a bit worried that the market's saturated with these kind of items right now and might struggle to offload them. Hmmm, decisions, decisions!

It's so difficult to decide where to invest your money! I am so glad I'm not an entrepreneur, I'd have a heart attack!

Really enjoying reading about everyone's ventures and successes!

I was starting without the initial £100 investment, so had been selling a few things in order to get money to invest in my idea. Unfortunately on Friday we discovered we'd been the victims of debit card fraud to the tune of more than £400 :( Still waiting to hear back from fraud dept to hear how long it'll take to get our money back, but I gather it CAN take weeks if not months to get sorted out. So, any money I make from selling bits & bobs at the moment has to go towards everyday household bills ... investing in my challenge will have to wait! On the bright side, we figure that if we manage to scrape by without the £400+ until it gets sorted, it'll feel like a real bonus when we get our money back!!

I shall of course continue to lurk and keep up to date with everyone!! :T

At the moment the 99p shop has loads of ipod covers in (for 99p of course!) so you may want to rethink that idea. They were really nice and masses of variety with loads of stock at the 2 nearest me
    lovin' this site!
