new gutter?

am hoping someone can give me a rough idea of prices for new guttering please?
i have a two bed terraced, not large at all really. at the front, the pipe (is it called downpipe?) appears cracked at the top - my living room wall has damp coming thru the paintwork - so im assuming the water is leakingonto wall causing damp on walls etc.
do i need to change all the gutters? or is it repairable?
they are not plastic guttering, i dont know if its lead or iron tho.
help pls?

I'd imagine that it's cast iron.
Can you see a break in the pipe? it's possible that the downpipe has slipped slightly and the joint has come apart.
If u are sure it's only the downpipe which is broken then it'll only be the downpipe that needs replacing.
Cast iron guttering can still be bought at a price. Alternativey, there are aluminium reproductions which look the same but are cheaper and lighter.0 -
from my front bedroom window, i can see that there is a huge crack from one of the joints extending quite a few inches.
i dont mind replacing it with plastic, afterall, i dont have a listed building etc.
any ideas on costs and perhaps anyone know of any reliable experts in the harrow area of middlesex?
thanks!0
