Need to change car - any suggestions ?
Hi folks, very briefly .....
Have owned Vauxhalls for a number of years, K reg Cavalier, S reg Vectra 1.8, 02 Reg Vectra 2.2 SRI, 51 reg Omega 2.6 V6 ...
Problem is .... the Omega is rubbish on fuel, less than 20 MPG on average . so I was gonna look at getting an LPG conversion as I like the comfort and the car etc.
Then it snowed ... rear wheel drive = disaster in the snow.
Only stipulations are -
Big boot (baby + equipment + ahem ... 2 x 12" subs),
Automatic gearbox (mrs has auto licence and must be able to drive it)
A bit of poke .... but not that costs me £70 per 350 miles ...
Any recommendations really welcome !
Cheers,
Musicboy

How about an Astra Estate - the 1.7CDTI should offer a good combination of performance and economy.
