Was wondering if Ikano are pretty strict issuing store cards like the Ikea card and New Look? Also, what is the usual length of time they search on. for instance is it a minimum 3 years credit history?
I have over 5 years of decent history.
I imagine the computer asks the CRA in the last 3 years has there been defaults, ccj's bankruptcy. Or could some want to know a full 6 year history.

I am unsure of how strict they are however they will ask the CRA for a copy of your current credit file. This will return 6 years worth of data. Whether the lender is only interested in the last 3 years is a different story however 6 years will be issued.Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000
6 credit accounts closed in 2010!

Many moons ago I used to have a New Look card and it was issued by GE money, surprised Santander didn't take it over.0
