  • The problem I have found is if you buy a cheaper juicer they are hard to clean and not that good really.I have bought the Anthony Worrall Thomson juicer it was expensive £80 but it will juice any fruit or veg no problem and so easy to clean well worth the money :D
  • I've recently bought the Anthony Worrall Thomson blender & it's fab!! It also had £10 knocked off it at Comet, but that was just before Christmas.

Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
  • I got the AWT blender for £50ish from Boots online just before Christmas. It's excellent. Don't think there is such a thing as a decent juicer combined with a blender.

Can I just suggest that if you buy a juicer make sure you get the type that juices whole fruit rather than having to cut the fruit/veg into pieces. They are much easier and quicker to use and tend to be stronger - I have a Breville Juice Fountain which I bought some time ago from Homebase half price and it has been brilliant.

I saw something called the Magic Bullet on a TV shopping channel just before Christmas.

It looked the mutts nutts and I'd love one. Sadly, a bit outta my price range. You'll have to search Google for them I think - though I did see some for sale on Ebay in the US.

Don't know if you've got it by now - but there is a very similar looking machine to the Magic Bullet on https://www.bestdirect.co.uk for 39.99 - they do look good I'm gonna buy one - it's called Merlin.

I'm on the look out for a reasonably priced juicer. I have been advised to go for one with the most powerful motor I can afford. The more powerful the motor the less fruit you need to use as extracts more juice. For example there was a AWT Breville one in Argos Extra for £249 , 1200w motor amongst other things. Yes its expensive and no I'm not stupid enough to buy one, but in the description it claims so powerful the pulp thats left behind is dry.

So I think I'll be saving for a bit just to get a juicer with more power and less faffy attachments.
:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:
