disaster! my sister now thinks that the 12 wont fit her as she will be breast feeding.
ive got my heart set on these dresses.
do i wait and see if i can get a 14 online? get the 12 anyway and see about getting a dressmaker to put a panel in it(at what cost?), phone all the stores in britain one my one? or resign mysekf to the fact that i cant get the dresses that i want and settle for something that i know wont live up.
i feel like im getting stressed which i said i would never do with my wedding!0

I'd let you sister collect the dress and leave her to it. At worst a seamstress will be able to sort it for her.
Well done on getting the dresses...don't worry about it now!Piglet

Have you thought to have your sis in the same colour but a different style? This way you get the dresses you want but accomodate your sis while she's feeding. This arrangement can look super!0

Would totally work! The colour is the theme, I think different dresses can sometimes look better than squeezing different body shapes into the same style dress, someone always looks uncomfortable. It like turning up to a 'do' to find another guest in the same outfit and knowing you don't look the better of the two!! :rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 The colour is the theme, I think different dresses can sometimes look better than squeezing different body shapes into the same style dress, someone always looks uncomfortable. There's an advert in a bridal mag with a bride and then 3/4 attendants in red. They are all wearing different styles but all you see is the red. Perfect idea!0

I wore a Debenhams bridesmaid dress in September after giving birth in March. I'm usually a size 12 so sis got that first and it fitted perfectly around my waist... My boobs however had different ideas so I ended up in a size 14 in the same style.
Did you phone up the customer service line? Don't phone the stores one-by-one, let Debenhams do the hard work for you!Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63
