Can't open photo attachments

I can't view photos sent to me as email attachments unless I save them somewhere else first. My jpegs/jpgs are supposed to open with Kodak EasyShare, but double-clicking on the attached file just brings up the message 'there is no program associated with this file type' etc etc and telling me to create an association.

The PC does this with whatever picture viewer i choose to open jpegs with.

Does anyone have any idea what's going wrong?

What email system are you using?

When you go to open them, if you right click there should hopefully be an "open with" option. Click this and it should show you a list of applications and down the bottom there will be a box for remembering this for next time.

You could also try installing Easyshare again?

I assume you are ticking the box that says 'Always use this program when opening this type of file?'

Assuming that you are using Outlook Express. Tools, Options, Security and Uncheck the Download Images box.
