I have am using Windows 7 for the first time with Word 2007.
I have been doing labels in Word for years using mail merge but now when I try to set up a label using name and 4 address lines, it will not fit on the label size I have previously used. There seems to be too big a gap between lines. Can anyone tell me how I can alter this gap size please?

Conceivably a printer driver issue, but its only a guess. I had some problems with my HP C6280 after upgrading to W7.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I haven't tried printing yet, it is when I merge all labels that the bottom of one runs into the top of the other.
I am also using the same size font as previously used, I am using a size 10 so can't really go any smaller otherwise you won't be able to read it when printed.0 -
Try to use Format Paragraph (Alt+O,P). For some crazy reason, Microsoft have set the Normal paragraph style to 1.15 lines - you can change it to single line spacing and remove any space after the paragraph too.

Once you have changed the format of your paragraph to how you want it to be permanently, right click on the style name in the toolbar and select Update Normal to match Selection. You can do this with any of the styles to change them across a document.
